Terms & Conditions

If you are booking on behalf of a group or individuals—whether for a community or private sauna session—you accept Rock Box Sauna’s Terms and Conditions on their behalf and must ensure they are aware of them and practice safe sauna use.

All persons using the sauna do so at their own risk. If you have any reservations regarding sauna use, such as medical conditions, underlying health problems, the use of prescription drugs, or pregnancy, it is essential that you consult your GP before making a booking.

Alcohol, nudity, music, and smoking are not permitted in or outside the sauna. Jewellery should be removed before entering the sauna to prevent burning.

Age Restrictions:

At Rock Box Sauna, we are committed to inclusivity and safety. However, certain health considerations may prevent use, and we strongly recommend consulting your GP if you have medical conditions, take prescription medications, or are pregnant.

Age Restrictions:

  • Children between the ages 7 to 16 are permitted to use the saunas during private sessions only (full sauna to be booked) if an adult family member/guardian is present at ALL TIMES during the hire/use of the sauna. Anyone under the age of 7 is NOT permitted to use the sauna

  • Additionally, under 16's are not permitted to use ice baths, buckets, plunge pools, or cold showers. It is also advised that children do not enter the sea while using the sauna.

To comply with Rock Box Sauna's policy, the supervising adult must acknowledge responsibility for the minor(s) by providing their name, relationship to the minor(s), and a signature before using the sauna. A form will be provided before your private sauna session for completion. Failure to provide this information may result in denial of entry.

Thank you for helping us create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Parent/Guardian Responsibility:
To comply with the policy, the supervising adult must acknowledge their responsibility for the minor(s) by providing their name, relationship to the minor(s), and a signature before using the sauna.

The following declaration must be completed:

I/We …………………………………(full name) are the Parent/Guardian/Adult Family Member (please delete accordingly) of ……………………………….(minor’s full name) and sign to accept that we take full responsibility for the above-named minor during the sauna hire use.

Health and Safety:
Exposure to hot equipment, slippery surfaces, and hot & cold temperatures is done so at your own risk. All persons using the watering cans or sea as a ‘cold plunge’ do so at their own risk. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are a capable swimmer and can cope being exposed to the cold temperatures and currents of the sea.
